The Company
Our client is a Directly Authorised, wholly Independent Financial Advisory firm managing more than £40m of Funds under Management. With open architecture they can access all platforms and agencies with all providers without restrictions, offering greater choice than available with most larger networks. They have been established for c20 years and have built a formidable group of profitable businesses which include Wealth, General Insurance, Commercial Finance Brokerage and own lending business. Following continuous organic growth and success, they are now looking to target IFA wealth acquisitions to really ramp this up with their goal being to achieve £1bn FuM over the next 10 years.
The firm has existing offices in the West End as well as NW London.
The combined group has a turnover of c£3m with strong profitability and financials to support the funding of acquisitions.
Value: 3 – 4 x recurring fee income over a 2 year deal period. Would consider keeping the advisor on for 5-10 years in a Non-Executive Director role. On top of the acquisition consideration they would consider paying them a percentage of their RI on an ongoing basis in exchange for their NED involvement. They could switch them to an introducer agreement for any new introduced investment clients.
Sale Type: Will consider share or asset purchases.
IFA Client Bank Criteria
- All firms considered from £20m to £150m FuM
- Ideally located within the M25 or surrounding counties but would consider any major cities in the England
